Healthcare and decentralised networks
Hello friends.
I’ve started this substack to regularly share my views & research of this intersection between healthcare & blockchain + crypto. I believe in decentralised, composable healthcare networks: lego bricks for healthcare that can be stacked on top one another to supercharge innovation. There are too many healthcare problems to solve - we need to move faster - and the pace of innovation is hampered by lack of composability and interoperability of healthcare technology today.
I want to connect builders in healthcare, who are equally excited and passionate about decentralised networks, blockchain and crypto.
A TL;DR about me:
Employee #2 at a digital health tech company focused on AI and digital therapeutics for behavioural health & chronic diseases: raised >$30M in investor funding and a headcount now of 100+ employees
Over 7 years of experience in business development & partnerships, operations, strategy & leading teams
Practiced as a medical doctor and diagnostic radiologist before transitioning into digital healthcare.
TEDx speaker in 2017, calling for greater innovation in healthcare to tackle the rising burden of chronic diseases
Love startups, building things from scratch, going from zero to one. Also love cats equally if not more (real cats, not MoonCats)
Degen score of 235. Yes I was rugged by Andre Cronje (or should I say, con-je)
One of my deeply personal missions is to bring web3 & blockchain into healthcare: using tech to solve data interoperability and human coordination problems that can positively impact the lives and health of millions globally.
I’m absolutely convinced that we’re at the beginning of the largest technological revolution for humanity since the internet. And it will radically change the way we think about and deliver healthcare in the coming years, much faster than we think.
